CONFIDENTIALITY
Confidentiality is essential to our client relationships regardless of whether the case is high profile or if the client simply wants to remain anonymous and discreet. This firm has years of experience in handling press relations and navigating the waters of public and governmental scrutiny of alleged client or agent conduct. Since the attorney client privilege is the cornerstone of our practice, we again want to caution all clients not to use cell phones, portable phones or e-mails when engaging in confidential business or private conversations with your attorney or others. These lack an element of privacy which can erode or undermine the attorney-client relationship or the expectation of privacy that you might otherwise have in a conversation. Additionally, such communication devices can make your conversations more susceptible to intrusion by a third party or interception by a government agency. These communication devices also lack the expectation of privacy which is inherent in a land based telephone or closed door conversation. |
