He has litigated computer password protection cases and represents defendants charged in federal court with cases ranging from white collar offenses to narcotics charges and computer pornography indictments.

Other examples of our work include:

  • Creative defenses in federal court including the use of the First Amendment for a client accused of aiding terrorism through the internet
  • Arguing that a rap video should not be used to infer gang ties in a homicide case and challenging a prosecutor's attempt to coerce a client into revealing his computer password before a federal grand jury.
  • Winning a high profile homicide case where an Olympian's brother was accused of manslaughter.
  • Convincing the Massachusetts Supreme Court to affirm the dismissal of statutory rape charges in Bernardo B. based upon selective enforcement of such cases against juvenile males.
  • Convincing the First Circuit Court of Appeals that a drug conviction should be overturned because of improper prosecutorial conduct.
  • Landmark wins in juvenile law. See Brown and Bernardo B.
